ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ACTIVITY

I understand that my child/children will participate in workshops and other activities or events that Studio19 is organizing, including but not limited to: hands-on science experiments, engineering and building activities, robotics and electronics projects, use of basic tools and equipment, chemical reactions materials, group collaborative activities.

I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: minor cuts, burns, bruises, or allergic reactions, accidental contact with tools or materials, slips, trips, or fall, equipment malfunction, interaction with other participants

I voluntarily assume all risks and hazards, known or unknown associated with a participation of my child in activities at or organized by Studio19 that may lead to physical or psychological injuries including in extreme cases potential for paralysis and death and I acknowledge that such risks cannot be avoided or excluded without prejudice to the fundamental constituents of participating and enjoying the activity.

CONTINUING VALIDITY OF WAIVER

This agreement shall remain valid and binding for all current and future visits, workshops, classes, camps, holiday programs, birthday parties, events, field trips, activities, and services provided or organized by Tinker Labs (“Studio19”). The undersigned acknowledges that a new waiver shall not be required for each visit and that this Agreement applies to every attendance by the child at any Tinker Labs location in Reem Mall or partner venue, school, event location, camp location, exhibition venue, mall, or off-site activity organized or supervised by Tinker Labs.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ACTIVITY and ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I voluntarily permit my child to participate in the activities, programs, and events conducted at Studio19 and acknowledge that such participation may involve certain inherent risks, both known and unknown. I have disclosed in this form any relevant medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or special needs and I expressly accept and assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in these activities.

I acknowledge that activities may involve the use of glue, paints, slime ingredients, magnets, batteries, electronics, robotics components, hot glue guns, hand tools, scissors, measuring instruments, construction materials, chemicals, liquids, sensory materials, engineering equipment, science experiment materials, and other educational materials.

I understand that participation may involve temporary exposure to dust, odors, noise, heat, water, moving parts, electrical components, and materials that may stain clothing, shoes, or personal belongings.

I acknowledge that certain activities may take place outside the immediate Tinker Labs premises, including common areas, corridors, restrooms, schools, malls, parks, exhibition venues, event locations, and partner facilities.

I further confirm that my child is physically and medically fit to participate in such activities and has no condition that would make participation unsafe. I understand that Studio19 does not provide individual supervision of the children, and that I am solely responsible for deciding whether my child may remain in the area without my direct supervision.

I acknowledge that Tinker Labs is not a medical, therapeutic, behavioral, rehabilitation, childcare, or special education facility and is not specifically designed, staffed, equipped, or adapted to accommodate children with developmental, behavioral, psychological, neurological, sensory, learning, communication, emotional, or special needs conditions, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorders, or similar conditions. Where I choose to enroll a child with any such condition, I do so entirely at my own discretion and risk and accept full responsibility for determining whether participation is appropriate and safe for my child. I acknowledge that Studio19 makes no representation that its facilities, staff, activities, or programs are suitable for such children and I release Studio19 from any claims arising from participation by such child to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

I understand that Studio19 does not provide one-to-one supervision and that parents remain solely responsible for determining whether their child can safely participate without direct parental supervision.

BATHROOM ASSISTANCE AUTHORIZATION

I understand that restroom facilities may be located outside the Tinker Labs premises and may require a child to leave the activity area. I hereby authorize Studio19 employees, instructors, assistants, and authorized representatives to accompany, supervise, escort, and reasonably assist my child in accessing and using restroom facilities when necessary.

Such assistance may include escorting the child to and from restroom facilities, and ensuring the child's safety while outside the immediate activity area.

I acknowledge and accept all risks associated with such supervision and assistance and release Studio19 from any liability arising from restroom-related supervision or assistance except where prohibited by applicable law.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP RESPONSIBILITY

Parents, guardians, nannies, drivers, or authorized caregivers remain fully responsible for the child before check-in and after check-out. Studio19's responsibility for supervision begins only when the child has been formally accepted into a scheduled activity and ends immediately upon completion of the activity or handover to an authorized adult.

Studio19 reserves the right to request identification from any individual collecting a child and may refuse release of the child where there is uncertainty regarding authorization or safety.

While Studio19 may, at its sole discretion, allow a child to remain on the premises pending collection, such accommodation shall not create any obligation on Studio19 to provide continued supervision, childcare, or monitoring services beyond the scheduled activity period.

Parents agree that late collection may result in additional charges, suspension from future activities, or refusal of future bookings.

RULES & BEHAVIOR

Parents agree to reimburse Studio19 for the cost of repairing or replacing any equipment, furniture, fixtures, tools, materials, electronic devices, displays, decorations, facilities, or property damaged intentionally, recklessly, or through repeated disregard of instructions by their child.

Studio19 reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior presents a risk to themselves, other participants, staff members, visitors, or property. Such removal shall not entitle the participant to any refund, compensation, replacement session, or credit.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

Studio19 shall not be responsible for loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of any personal belongings, clothing, electronics, jewelry, toys, money, school items, bags, or other property brought onto the premises by any participant or visitor.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT

I understand that CCTV recordings, photographs, and video footage may also be used for safety, security, incident investigation, staff training, operational review, legal compliance, and insurance purposes where required.

TAKE-HOME PROJECTS & MATERIALS

I acknowledge that projects, experiments, models, toys, devices, slime, crafts, electronics, chemicals, materials, and other items created during activities may be taken home by my child. Once such items leave the control of Studio19, Studio19 shall have no responsibility whatsoever for their use, misuse, modification, storage, transportation, disposal, or supervision.

I accept full responsibility for supervising any subsequent use of such items and release Studio19 from any claims arising after the items leave Studio19's custody.

ALLERGIES, FOOD & CONSUMABLES

Parents are solely responsible for informing Studio19 in writing of any allergies, dietary restrictions, sensitivities, medical conditions, or other health concerns affecting their child.

While Studio19 will make reasonable efforts to consider disclosed information, Studio19 cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and shall not be responsible for accidental exposure to allergens brought by participants, visitors, suppliers, venues, or third parties.

RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, I hereby irrevocably release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to bring any claim against Studio19, including its owners, directors, officers, employees, instructors, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, representatives, and venue partners, from any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including legal fees, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, arising out of or in any way connected with my child’s participation in any activities, workshops, classes, programs, events, or use of the facilities provided or organized by Studio19.

This release applies to any claim arising from personal injury, illness, property damage, or any other loss sustained by my child, myself, or any third party, whether arising from negligence, accident, or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

I further acknowledge and agree that this waiver and release extend to any injury, damage, or loss that may occur outside of the facility or after the completion of a workshop or activity, including but not limited to any item, prop, project, experiment, model, material, or creation that my child builds, assembles, uses, or takes home during participation in Studio19 activities.

By signing this waiver, I confirm that I fully understand and voluntarily accept this release of liability on behalf of myself and my child.

INDEMNITY

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Studio19, including its owners, directors, employees, instructors, volunteers, affiliates, and venue partners, from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to my participation and/or my child’s participation, or any third party’s participation associated with us, in any workshops, programs, activities, or events conducted or organized at the facility.

I acknowledge and understand that participation in such activities may involve certain inherent risks. I confirm that my and/or my child’s participation is entirely voluntary, and I knowingly and willingly choose to participate and permit my child to participate despite any such risks.

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

In the event of injury or medical emergency during the attendance of any activity organized by Studio19, I authorize Studio19 and its employees to administer basic first aid, seek emergency medical treatment or call emergency services if required.

I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical costs incurred.

RULES & BEHAVIOR

I confirm that:

• My child will follow all instructor safety instructions.
• Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the activity without refund.
• Safety gear provided must be worn when instructed.

PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT

I hereby grant Studio19 the unrestricted right and permission to photograph, film, or otherwise record my child while participating in activities at the facility. I authorize Studio19 to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute such images, videos, or other media in any format for marketing, advertising, promotional materials, the facility’s website, and social media platforms, without further notice or compensation. I understand that these materials may be used publicly and waive any rights to inspect or approve the finished media or its use.

REFUND POLICY

I acknowledge and agree that all fees paid to Studio19 for workshops, programs, classes, activities, or events are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to absence, late arrival, early withdrawal, illness, scheduling conflicts, or change of plans.

Studio19 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify schedules, instructors, activities, or programs, or to cancel or postpone sessions when necessary. In such cases, Studio19 may, at its discretion, offer a rescheduled session, credit, or alternative arrangement, but shall not be obligated to provide any refund.

GOVERNING LAW & LANGUAGE

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable Emirate in which the activity is conducted. If any of these provisions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in force.

This document is executed in both English and Arabic. In the event of any conflict, discrepancy, or difference in interpretation between the English and Arabic texts, the English version shall prevail and govern for all purposes.

CCTV Notice

I acknowledge and understand that CCTV cameras are in operation throughout the premises of Studio19 for safety, security and operational purposes in accordance with applicable law and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.

DECLARATION

I confirm that:

• I am the legal parent guardian or nanny of the above-named child.
• I have read and understood this document fully.
• I sign this voluntarily and without coercion.
• I wish to receive the offers and discounts through the mentioned email and I am aware that I have the full right to cancel my subscription in receiving the email messages sent from Studio19.
